During the summer I am obsessed with two things; peppers and tomatoes. The core of homemade salsa and chunky guacamole. There honestly is nothing better than whipping those dips up to enjoy with some tortilla drinks and a cold brew on a sizzling summer afternoon.

Lately I’m loving adding fresh red chili peppers to everything including this lime-infused guacamole. A little goes a LONGGG way with these bad boys!

Although extremely spicy, chili peppers have an array of health benefits:

  • Known to have disease preventing properties
  • Rich source of Vitamin-C
  • Good in other antioxidants such as vitamin-A, and flavonoids

Avocado chili lime guacamole is a spicy n’ sweet guacamole that packs a delicious punch! Add extra lime juice and water to turn into a delicious sauce and salad dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 avocado’s
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 3 red chilis- diced
  • 2 small tomatoes- diced

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until blended and all ingredients are mixed together.

As I noted in the beginning of this post, I like to turn this into a delicious summer pasta/zoodle sauce by adding in juice of another lime and water until the mixture forms a sauce consistency. Toss with zoodles like I have below and serve with fresh, grilled shrimp!
