{Thoughts}

I increased my weights this week and was feeling it! There’s no better feeling than feeling sore after a workout! The yoga classes I’m incorporating into my plan seem to be helping stretch me out after lifting. It’s been a nice balance. Time to increase my interval speeds though, gotta get this short legs a-haulin’!

BBB Week 2 Food Review | Britt's Blurbs

  • Juicing has been happening a lot more! And let me tell you… it feels so good! Natural energy all morning long. Love it.
  • After using My Fitness Pal for one week it’s really helped open my eyes up to portion sizes. Although I eat fairly healthy and try to maintain my 80-20 rule with balancing sweets. I’ve noticed that even my “healthy” foods I tend to over due the portions. This next week of my plan my goal is to really focus on my serving sizes and use a food scale to help track things.
  • I may even portion out snack sizes at the beginning of the week to make things easier for me. When my blood sugar drops, I tend to just grab a lot of something to refuel quicker. Having smart portion sizes handy will help with that!

{Other Goals}

Water Intake:
I’m making up for this for extreme tea consumption. I’ve been on a roll lately with a black or green chai in the afternoon and a ginger or peppermint in the evening! The evening teas have really been helping with my IBS and aiding in my digestion.

Sleep:
Sleeping like a rock. I bet it’s a mixture of no EXTREME stress from school (except now I have real-world stress) and my dad & I have been taking evening walks so the fresh air is helping me fall asleep fast!

Attitude:
Realizing each and every day that God has a plan for me and no matter how much I can plan, his will always prevail. Positive actions create positive results!

    I think I’m actually sleeping WORSE since I graduated, haha. I used to get so exhausted from school that I’d basically pass out, but now I end up staying awake later because I don’t get to that point. Although I realize that it’s probably healthier this way!
