Clean Chocolate Peppermint Bark Recipe

This Clean Chocolate Peppermint Bark is only four ingredients and the perfect holiday gift! The coconut oil helps keep the bark together when it’s frozen but melts in your mouth as you take your first bite.

Currently your body (and mind for that matter) is in Christmas overload. Especially when it comes to the holiday sweets.. cookies, cookies and more cookies, holiday candies, baked goods and specialty treats! My sweet tooth is so happy but my belly and the bloat is not. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about balance and enjoying some holiday treats you wouldn’t normally have year-round. However, it’s always good to go with “healthier” options when possible! Something that’s not completely loaded down with sugar, butter and fat.

That’s where this fantastic, God’s gift to foodies product comes into play… Coconut Oil. I swear it’s a super-food that’s good for everything! Not only in cooking, sauteing or baking but for moisturizing your face and body, hydrating your hair or cleaning your teeth!

One of my favorite clean sweet treats is to mix together melted coconut oil, peanut butter and honey and pour into little muffin liners then freeze. It’s the perfect homemade peanut butter cup!

I basically took that same concept and turned it into a festive holiday treat! Minus the peanut butter of course… although that could be interesting for those who dare!

**Also, make sure to keep these cool as the coconut oil melts easily when warm!
