Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! If you’re in the north east, please stay safe and warm as that blizzard moves in! This weekend was another low-key weekend in which I was able to check off so many things from my to-do list!
Among the weekend things was another #PizzaFriday with a flatbread pizza on an Ezekiel tortilla.
Saturday morning I was trying to kick my cold out of me once and for all so I went to yoga class and capped it off with a beet & greens smoothie and my daily dose of oil of oregano. After yoga I hit the grocery store. Check out that awesome deal on Vega protein & greens powder! Almost half-off! Thanks Kroger!
This weekend I was also able to fit in a little time for outdoor exploring. There was so much sunshine I just had to soak it up!
And I hung my old window I repaired on my wall and made a quick burlap braided wreath. It’s not perfect but it’ll do the job!
Of course I worked on some delicious recipes for you guys as well! I have a stock-pile now so get ready!
Saturday in yoga class I talked with a few people who were wondering how I cleaned my yoga mat so I thought I’d share my trick with you all. It’s super simple!
- Fill a small bowl with warm water
- Add a few drops of tea tree oil
- Using a wash cloth, dip the cloth in the water then scrub down the mat.
- Repeat this process to cover the entire surface
- Then let your mat air dry
Tea tree oil has cleansing properties making it a jack-off-all-trades oil perfect for cleaning skin issues (acne, scrapes, etc) or for an all-natural, all-purpose cleaner! You can find tea tree oil at a health foods store, farmers market or online. Just make sure you are getting an organic oil.
Happy Monday and Happy Cleaning! XOXO
Very nice post! I need to clean my yoga mat this weekend! Thanks!
