{MIMM} Graduation Weekend

In 3 and a 1/2 years I did it! I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern Michigan University. There’s no better feeling in the world than accomplishing a major life goal and milestone!

I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of my family. Sharing my accomplishment with them this past weekend meant the world to me! I’m also so incredibly blessed to have a huge support system of family & friends that congratulated me over this weekend. Thank you to all!!

I’m also incredibly blessed to have received this as a graduation present.

I’m so excited to start capturing snapshots of my “new life” and learning more about photography! Yay for better food/blog pictures!

Let’s also chat about my graduation dinner at Elizabeth’s Chop House in Marquette. UNREAL. I started with the house salad which had spinach, apples, pecans and crumbled blue cheese with an apple vinaigrette dressing. For my entree I ordered the Seafood Linguine special. This IMMEDIATELY brought me back to Italy. It was amazing! Mussels, shrimp, scallops and linguine pasta with a glass of Merlot on the side. Couldn’t have asked for a better graduation dinner! What a treat!

After a stressful exam week, a weekend of celebrations, lots of food and beer, and little exercise… my body has worn down on me and I think I have the flu and/or cold bug. I’m loaded up on medicine and trying to rest it off. I don’t deal with being sick very well because I always want to be doing something so let’s see how this goes!

What a MARVELOUS Monday to be thankful for all that I have and where I am going.

Here’s a PERFECT Monday Mantra to kick off my post-grad life…

Make each moment of your life as exciting as it possibly can be. Be happy and live your life to the fullest!

XOXO. Britt

What is one exciting thing you did over this past weekend?

Any healthy and/or all-natural sickness remedy recommendations?

Congratulations! Oh my gosh, that camera looks awesome — I’m so jealous! 🙂

I just graduated in 3 1/2 years, too (with an English degree). You get an actual ceremony? For my school, you have to wait until the spring to do it with the rest of your class. I’m not even going to go. I was never interested in it in the first place (graduating with 3000 people, 95% of whom I don’t know, in a 3-hour ceremony? … Not for me), and making me wait all the way until May was just another reason not to go. The only thing I’m excited about is actually finishing and getting my diploma! I’m having a graduation party, so I still feel like I get to celebrate.
