And a happy 2016! I hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s Weekend!
Thursday I took a half a day from work so B and I could run errands and get ready for New Year’s Eve. We did our own appetizer dinner at home then went to a friends house to ring in the new year! We started with caviar, cream cheese and dill on bellini wafers. I’m actually not a huge fan of caviar so I didn’t partake in this dish.
Next up we had chorizo sausage meatballs and then I made lump crab and cream cheese cups baked in wonton wrappers. So delicious!
The finale were these amazing pork belly sliders with pickled cucumbers.
At midnight we poured champagne and toasted to a great 2016!
This week I had the opportunity to set up my new Christmas present; a camera boom and the lighting system! I’m in love with them.
B and I worked on adding new shelves to our storage closet to make it fully functional. The additional storage is perfect as we can fit the vacuum, broom and mop on one side and use the shelves for storage on the other.
After setting up my new camera gear I had to crank out some new recipes. I’m SO excited for these!
