GUYS. Raise your hand if you love everything in a jar too? Oh my gosh. Why is it that a silly little glass jar just MAKES the dish?! It’s like ten times better all around.
So here’s my new obsession and it can be yours. And we can be bff’s.
RAMEN NOODLE SOUP IN A JAR. For real guys. Skip the nasty, manufactured ramen packets filled with who knows what and packed with sodium. These guys are incredibly easy to assemble in your weekly food prep and take no time to heat up during the week to enjoy.
Now that fall is slowly creeping in, (which HI FALL, YOU CAN HURRY UP), I’ve been looking for new lunch ideas to change up from the typical salad in a jar.
If you have a desk job, keep a ceramic bowl in your desk so it makes it super easy to heat this up.
The fun thing about this recipe too is that you can really add WHATEVER you want. If you’re jam is a meat-heavy ramen noodle bowl, add some cooked steak strips or roasted chicken.
If you want more veggies, add some bok choy slices or if you want an egg add in some boiled egg slices. Have FUN with your soup and make it something you’ll look forward to for lunch every day.Print

Ramen Noodle Soup In a Jar is a healthy and delicious lunch option instead of the typical salad in a jar.

- Total Time: 24 minutes
- Buckwheat noodles or ramen noodles of your choice
- Coconut aminos
- Grated ginger
- Chopped green onions
- Sliced jalapeños
- Shredded carrots
- Sliced shiitake mushrooms
- Vegetable broth
- Begin layering the ingredients by adding some coconut aminos to the bottom of a wide mouth ball jar.
- Next add the grated ginger.
- Then the chopped green onions.
- Then the jalapenos.
- Then the carrots.
- Then the shiitake mushrooms.
- Top with the noodles.
- Add the broth to a seperate ball jar.
- When ready to eat, dump the soup ingredients into an empty, microwave safe bowl.
- Next add about 1 1/2 cups of the broth.
- Heat for 2-3 minutes or until soup is warm.
- Add as much or as little of the ingredients as you would like. You can pack the jars tight.
- The soup ingredients stay fresh for about 4-5 days in the fridge so make them ahead of time in your weekly food prep.
