Thanksgiving Week 2015

Mondayyyyy… After a long holiday week. You are not welcomed. Today will be a long one.

Last Wednesday I took the day off work and I prepped for Thanksgiving, cleaned up the house and ran some errands. I also made this delicious maple pumpkin pie!

Thursday morning my brother, B and I headed to the Marietta square to run the Gobble Jog 5K! I haven’t done a 5K in awhile so it felt great to get back into them!

Before we went over to B’s parents house for his family Thanksgiving, my dad and B put this delicious turkey on the smoker!

Everything turned out delicious and to say we were all stuffed at the end is an understatement!

Friday morning we went to the Andretti race track so my dad, brother and B could all race go-karts! It was a blast watching them! I opted out this time since I didn’t want to get out there with all those guys!

Saturday I said goodbye to my family… which was so hard. BUT I’ll see them in 3 weeks when I fly back to Michigan for Christmas! The rest of Saturday B and I went to the Georgia vs. Georgia Tech with his parents. Although Tech just couldn’t pull it off it was a great game and a beautiful day for some football!

And Sunday.. where do I begin. What an awful day. We took my phone to get the screen fixed because it fell & cracked taking a photo on Thanksgiving… well they ended up fixing the screen but as soon as we left the speaker didn’t work. So we took it back and they couldn’t figure out what they had done. Now I have to get a new phone and UGH! What a hassle! Thankfully they were very friendly and apologized and refunded us completely for the screen and offered to buy me a new phone if Apple doesn’t cover mine under the warranty. To cheer up the end of the day we stopped to get our Christmas tree! WOO-HOO for a real tree!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! XOXO
