The Start of a New Beginning {MIMM}

It was the perfect #PureMichigan weekend over here.

Weekend | Britt's Blurbs

Lots of exploring, catching up with friends, and relaxing. I picked up some new workout clothes that were on sale and some gloves for lifting! I also roasted up a big batch of almonds and made some fresh almond butter to have!

Today marks the start of Best Body Bootcamp Round 4 and I could not be happier. I’ve let the stress of exams/graduation/moving, being sick, and the indulging of the holidays get the best of me. It’s time to re-focus my efforts on my body. I plan to…

  • blog more about my progress of getting my “feel-great weight” back
  • stick to the bootcamp plan
  • eat even cleaner, 80%-20% rule
  • document my eats everyday in a food diary
  • aim for 8 glasses of water every day
  • get at LEAST 8 hours of sleep a night

Now that I’m starting a “new life” for myself. I’m making these small goals to continue to live a healthy, happy life!

Speaking of “new life”, I’m so excited to also begin a few business venture ideas I’ve been brainstorming up while I continue the job search process. This will be a great side project for me and chance to use my marketing education/knowledge. I’ll actually be attending a workshop for it tomorrow evening! Stay tuned as I figure all of the exciting details out!

It wouldn’t be MIMM without some MARVELOUS Monday Mantra… Monday Mantra | Britt's Blurbs

Think positive thoughts. And become a positive person!–> I’m always striving for that!

Have a MARVELOUS Monday friends!

XOXO. Britt

How was your weekend?

If you make homemade almond butter—> do you store it in the fridge or cupboard?

We’re trying to figure this out right now after learning the natural oils released in the process could possibly go bad if sitting at room temperature for awhile.

Never made home made almond butter, but damn I should! I do have a food processor, but couldn’t figure out how to work it, lol! I am not sure what I did wrong!

    Happy week to you!

Oh you need to!! It’s SO much better than store-bought. Nice and creamy! Plus you can add vanilla to make it a little sweeter as well!

      Have a great week too!

I know it’s not exactly the same thing, but when I make homemade peanut butter, I always put it in the fridge. I think you have to because there’s no preservatives? But I’m not sure. Better safe than sorry!

After reading up about it more that’s exactly what most articles say! Into the fridge it will go now.. except I love the “creaminess” when it’s room temperature!
