Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a blast showing my parents around the area and enjoying the cool but beautiful fall weather.
Friday evening my parents arrived shortly after I got off work. We celebrated with pizza, drinks and giving them a house tour. It was so fun to catch up with them!
Saturday morning we headed to breakfast, the farmers market, Whole Foods then came home to watch football together and just chill. I mean this appetizer spread?! So delicious. They can just move in now.
Saturday night Brent and I made a true southern dish for my parents… Shrimp n’ Grits! I really didn’t know what I was doing so Brent lead the way. It turned out great though!
Sunday it was BEAUTIFUL out… besides being a little chilly! But my parents didn’t mind since my hometown received snow over the weekend! We took an afternoon hike at Kennesaw Mountain then watched some NFL while my mom and I worked on crafts for the Thanksgiving day table!
Sunday night we enjoyed a great dinner spread of stone crab claws, venison tenderloin and asparagus! SO GOOD! And those stone crab claws are no joke. They’re tough to break! We had to get out the hammer!
I’m working today and 1/2 a day tomorrow then I’m off the rest of the week! Woo-hoo! Have a great day! XOXO
