Happy Wednesday Friends!
I’m sending warm vibes to all my friends and family up in Michigan/Minnesota! I can’t believe Marquette, MI, where my alma mater is, received 20 inches of snow in the past two days!! That’s crazy early, even for Marquette which is basically the snow globe of the north!
A few of you have asked where I bought the lantern I posted on Instagram awhile ago… Kirklands! Yep, that’s right. They actually have some super cute ones plus they’re having a 25% off sale on all lanterns right now.
Since ya’ll want my WIAW posts to keep coming I thought today I’d share an array of random foods I’ve eaten lately!
The best packed lunch ever. Period. Leftover Butternut Squash Mac n’ Cheese Bake with a side of EVOO massaged kale & mashed avocado.
Just two flavors of granola bars I’m loving lately.
The Kind Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt is TO DIE FOR. Oh and their Mocha Chocolate bar is insanely good as well. Plus tis the season to be festive for the holidays so chocolate peppermint stick granola bars are back in rotation. Such a sweet clean treat on afternoons when I really need a happy pick-me-up!
You need to go to Kroger and get this Chipotle Pumpkin Salsa pronto. Like ASAP. With a side of Chia Seed Corn Tortilla Chips by Garden of Eatin’.
Ya’ll know I love my stuffed squash but now I have a new favorite combo. Grass-fed ground beef, kale, mushrooms and goat cheese. The savoriness of the beef and sweet, natural flavor of the acorn squash pair so well together!
